Hello World — Why I Built This Space
A personal corner of the internet, on my own terms — a place to write, think out loud, and keep the things I care about in one place.
For years my writing lived on other people's platforms — a thread here, a post there, all of it renting space inside someone else's feed. This is me moving back home.
This place is deliberately open-ended. It's not about any single subject. Some days I'll write about something I'm making, some days about a book that rearranged how I see things, some days about an idea I just can't put down. Whatever's alive for me — that's what shows up here.
Why own your own space
Three reasons, in order of how much I care about them:
- Permanence. Feeds are designed to forget. A page like this remembers.
- Depth. There's no character limit here, and no reason to cut a thought short.
- Ownership. The words, the design, and the quiet are all mine.
Write the thing you wish you'd found when you were up too late looking for it.
What to expect
I'm not promising a schedule. I'm promising honesty — pieces I'd actually want to read myself. If that sounds like your kind of thing, the writing is the best place to start, and the about page will tell you who's doing the writing.
